In a truly bizarre case of life imitating art, it seems as if two Newfoundland robbers have taken their cue from none other than Andy Milonakis.

December 18, 2010: 2 diminutive men armed with a musket attempt an armed robbery in St. John's, Newfoundland.

In fact, The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the general public in providing information regarding this pair of masked musketeers, who attempted their robbery at the Super 8 Motel on Higgins Line in St. John's, Newfoundland.

At approximately 5:56 pm on Saturday, December 18, RNC Street Patrol Officers responded to an armed robbery at the Super 8 Motel located at 175 Higgins Line. Two male suspects, one armed with a musket entered the Motel and demanded money from the front desk clerk.

The first male suspect appears to be approximately 110 pounds, 5'0" tall, dirty blond hair, light complexion and possibly acne on his face. He was wearing a ¾ length winter coat, dark hat with a red bib worn backwards and a red t-shirt which was used to conceal his face.

The second suspect appears to be approximately 5'4" tall, slight stature, wearing a dark splash coat and dark pants.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this attempted armed robbery and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone that can identify the persons responsible or anyone that may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at (Newfoundland) 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). UPDATE: Police have ruled out the possibility of one of the thieves actually being Andy Milonakis. Instead, they are investigating the actor's YouTube Newfoundland subscribers to see if they get a match.

EXTRA: Restart both videos at the same time, and keep your eyes on the armed robbery video. Keep restarting it for the length of Andy's track. Kinda weird, right?
