Mr. Brainwash ("MBW") is a pseudonym for the character Thierry Guetta in the film Exit Through the Gift Shop, directed by Banksy. Guetta is presented in the 2010 film as a French citizen who now lives in Los Angeles, having been a proprietor of a clothing store and videographer who evolved into a street artist and gallery artist, influenced by the street artists he documented through video over the years. According to the film, Guetta was first introduced to street art by his cousin, the French street artist, Invader.

The film includes authentic documentation of Space Invader, Shepard Fairey, Banksy and other well-known street artists at work on the streets, and is directed by Banksy with significant participation from Fairey.

Not Jailed Yet, Sam Jones IIIrd Hits Up Trousdale

Dressed to the nines, sex tape star Sam Jones the IIIrd swings by Trousdale. The Smallville star faces a 20-year prison sentence after being arrested for possession of more than 10,000 oxycodone pills.

Jones, best known as Clark Kent's (Tom Welling) best friend Pete on The CW's hit series "Smallville," pleaded guilty recently in Los Angeles federal court to conspiracy to sell the large quantity of oxycodone pills. The actor was busted last year at his Canoga Park, California home for trying to sell the painkiller which is known on the street as "poor man's heroin."

The federal authorities arrested Jones after determining he was the "Hollywood connection" involved in the ring's illegal distribution of drugs. The star will be sentenced in June and faces up to 20 years in prison. Ouch!

Whew!
